Handmade African necklaces and bracelets coming SOON!!
Each of these necklaces and bracelets have been lovingly made by 3 Ugandan girls named Betty, Tracy and Millicent. Having been orphaned at an early age, they were raised in a children’s home called Jordan House. Recently they moved out because they are too old to continue being a part of the program. Now they are stuck in the difficult position of losing their sponsors while still needing to put themselves through a trade school so they can get jobs. Betty is pursuing a career in nursing while Tracy and Millicent are attending fashion and design school where they will learn to be seamstresses. They are hoping to make enough money from selling necklaces to continue in their education when their sponsorships run out this January. So Ensigo will be helping to sell their jewelry through this website.
If you are interested in helping us sell these beads (through hosting parties, including them at your merch table, selling them at your store, etc.) please contact us at: aaron (at) ensigo.com
